Parking Mode is a fancy term for any recording done while your engine is off and your car is parked. Parking mode recording is also referred to as “Sentry Mode,” “Parking Surveillance” or “Parking Guard.” Typically found only in premium dash cameras, parking mode provides protection and surveillance for the vehicle.
GS63H dash cam is built-in a 250mAh lithium battery. Here are several “Parking Mode”of GS63H that you can select :
The following dashcam settings ONLY need to be set once, it is more convenient for you.
1. Parking Mode with USB Card Charger to supply power
①With “Impact Detection Parking Mode” function enabled.
GS63H dash cam automatically starts recording a video for 60 seconds when any collision/impact detected. The internal battery supports about limited times of recording a 60-seconds video when charged fully.
②After car power off the GS63H dashcam will also power off.
If someone hits your car, then the dash cam will power on and record a 60-seconds video and save in LOCK folder of Micro-SD card, then dashcam power off.
③Dashcam will alert by words if dashcam detect impact when next power on.
The camera will give you alert words“Dashcam detects emergency events when parking” when you turn ON your car the next time. If you see this, you should check the locked videos to see what happened.

2. 24-Hours Parking Mode with Hard-wire kit to supply power
If you want dash cam can provide around-the-clock protection and surveillance for the vehicle, please use 24-Hours Parking Mode function.
a, This function will ONLY work when AZDOME's 3-Lead Hardwire Kit.

If GS63H with the latest firmware and 3-Lead Hardwire Kit, there are two different 24-Hours parking modes for you to choose：
1. Time-Lapse Parking Mode
2. Impact Detection Parking Mode
NOTE : If function“Impact Detection Parking Mode" and“Time Lapse Parking Mode”are ON simultaneously, the Time Lapse Parking will be the priority.
Time-Lapse Parking Mode
With“Impact Detection Parking Mode" OFF /"Time Lapse Parking Mode”ON.
NOTE : The time-lapse parking mode video files will be at fast speed with no audio when play back.
① When you turn OFF the car's engine and turn the key to the lock position. Then the camera will STOP the continuous video recording(Loop Recording) and it will go into the time-lapse 1fps recording mode automatically.
② Now while this time-lapse is being recorded, If someone hits your car, then the dash cam will lock the current video files and save in LOCK folder of Micro-SD card.
③ When you start your car for the next time, the camera will automatically STOP the time-lapse parking mode and start the continuous video recording(Loop Recording).
④The camera will give you alert words“Dashcam detects emergency events when parking” when you turn ON your car the next time. If you see this, you should check the locked videos to see what happened.

Impact Detection Parking Mode (24Hours)
When“Impact Detection Parking Mode" ON /"Time Lapse Parking Mode”OFF.
① When you turn OFF the car's engine and turn the key to the lock position. Then the camera will STOP the continuous video recording(Loop Recording) and it will go into the Impact Detection Parking Mode and the camera will turn OFF.
② Now while the camera stays in Impact Detection Parking Mode, If someone hits your car the camera will turn ON > then it will power on and record 60-senconds continuous video, save & lock that video in LOCK folder > then the camera will turn OFF again.
Compared with “Impact Detection Parking Monitor”with USB Card Charger, dash cam will record un-limited 60-senconds continuous video.
③ Now when you start your car for the next time, the camera will automatically go back into normal video mode(Loop Recording) automatically to start the continuous video recording.
④The camera will give you alert words“Dashcam detects emergency events when parking” when you turn ON your car the next time. If you see this, you should check the locked videos to see what happened.
