Thank you for choosing our product! We have noticed that some customers have experienced malfunctions in their dashcams due to downloading or installing the wrong firmware. To avoid unnecessary losses, please be sure to check the device model and firmware version number carefully to ensure they match exactly. If you are not sure which firmware to download, please contact after-sales support immediately and we will assist you in resolving the issue.
This article will tell you how to update the firmware of M200.
Since the dashcam M200 of different batches adapts different materials, there are two versions of latest firmware.
1. DJA2311_AZDOME_M200_241128BV
2. DJA2311_AZDOME_M200_260109BV
NOTE:
*If download the wrong firmware to update, the dash cam will not power on.
*Please backup the important files because updating will delete all files.
1.Formet Micro-SD card
Please format it in the laptop. (Please NOTE: Make sure to backup your recordings if you need them before formatting the Micro-SD card).
2.Download the Latest Firmware
NOTE: If your dash cam firmware version is NOT listed, please contact us at service@azdomevip.com , please don\'t download randomly it will cause dashcam be defective

Please download firmware file in your laptop by clicking on DJA2311_AZDOME_M200_241128BV

3.Copy the firmware to Micro-SD Card
Please insert the Micro-SD card to your laptop directly if you have the Micro-SD card slot and Micro-SD-adapter so you can access the Micro-SD card and copy the firmware file to it.
NOTE:
-Do NOT create any new folder on the Micro-SD card to save the firmware file. Simply copy and paste the file directly to the Micro-SD card.
-Please make sure that the firmware\'s file name doesn\'t get changed. Otherwise, the camera will NOT recognize the firmware update.
4.Insert the MicroSD card into Dashcam
Now keep the camera plugged into the power and turned off dashcam. Then, Insert the Micro-SD card with the latest firmware file into the camera.
5.Power on the Dashcam
This will start the firmware update process. You should see the RED LED REC indicator blinking (photo as below) on dashcam which means your M200 is updating the new firmware. Once the firmware is updated, the camera will turn ON automatically.
NOTE:
-The firmware update may take up to about 30 seconds.
-Make sure the POWER does NOT get disconnected while the firmware is being updated.
6.Format Micro-SD Card
You must delete the firmware file by FORMAT the Micro-SD card after updating, otherwise the dash cam will update again when next power on.
Please download APP name \"AZDOME\" on Apple Store or Goole Play, connect the dashcam and APP.
Then go to APP settings → Format SD card.
7.Check the Latest Firmware Version
Power on the dashcam again and check the latest firmware version by going into APP Settings → Firmware Version → M200-*****
